If the pose Commander was in was “reserved for women”, that wouldn’t explain why people other than women get enjoyment out of beefcake like that too. Which, I think, says something about it really being about sexualized body language.

Hell, superheroines can run around naked with big tits and ass as far as I’m concerned as long as their body language still telegraphed “POWER” over “SEX”.

This seems like as good a time as any to give props to Der-shing over at The Meek.
