Hey guys! A reader tipped me off to a Kickstarter they’re running to raise funds for a documentary exploring sexuality and relationships of trans women, and asked if I could help spread the word along. From the kickstarter page, the film is meant to address;

• What dynamics influence how trans women connect and flirt with other people?
• How do they communicate about their desires? 
• What difficulties do they encounter? How do they overcome them?
• How do relationships and hookups with other trans people differ from those with cis (non-trans) partners? 
• How are trans women and their partners treated in the different communities in which they participate? 
• How do intersecting identities, such as race, class, ability, and survivor status influence these things?

“The goal of this project is to create depictions of real humanity and allow trans women to take control over how their sexuality is portrayed.”

The mininum goal to make one DVD featuring trans women in relationships with cis individuals and one DVD featuring relationships with other trans people has been achieved, so the next benchmark has been set to expand the collection to include a third DVD focusing on relationships between trans women and non-binary partners (currently non-binary individuals are included in the documentary, but this would make a dedicated chapter for them)
