EXCITING NEWS!

My Professional stomping grounds, Six Point Harness, has joined forces with Titmouse to bring you a brand new youtube cartoon channel! For the time being we’re whetting your appetites with this clip of Chris and Brendan dousing each other in cartoon vomit (Please to be enjoying my rendition of the channel logo in Nickelodeon-esque cartoon upchuck), but if you subscribe now you’ll be in the front row for all the fun things to come down the road! We’ll also keep people posted over on Facebook, if that’s more your thang.

This has been in the pipeline for a long time and it’s really exciting to finally see it launch! I hope everyone enjoys our internet cartoonsmithing!

Bid on This Poster, Give Help to a Family That Needs It
Ginger and animator Joey Adams sure could use our help. Their toddler, Ian, has been diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (read how terrible the disease is). What’s worse, Ian’s twin brother, Henry, may have the illness, too. Tragically, Ginger and Joey lost their 16-month-old daughter, Gwen, back in 2009 from what also could have been HLH. You can read more about the history of the family’s health troubles at SupportTheAdams.com.
The only cure for HLH is a successful bone marrow transplant.
What’s heartening is the animation community is rallying to help out the family with its medical expenses by auctioning off donated one-of-a-kind artwork. The Adventure Time crew has signed this poster for the cause. Please consider heading to its eBay page and placing a bid. If the price is a little steep for you, there’s a good chance you can find something else that’ll rock your cartoon world in this online auction.
Of course, you don’t need to buy anything to help out Joey, Ginger, Ian, and Henry. You can find a PayPal link on SupportTheAdams.com.
Thanks, everyone (and an extra thanks to those of you who reblog). And please keep the Adams in your thoughts.

Oh hey, these guys have a history with my studio, I posted about them a few months back. Signal boost again!

One of my favorite pieces of original art that I picked up last weekend at WonderCon. If you can believe it, the entire piece was done on a 2.5”X3.5” art card. For more of Kelly Turnbull’s art, follow her Tumblr, http://coelasquid.tumblr.com/ and check out her web comic http://thepunchlineismachismo.com/

Thanks man, that means a lot coming from a talented Renaissance man like yourself! :D

It’s here! It’s finally done!

A month and a half and nearly 90 pages later, this sketchbook is fully complete. It started as an exercise in construction, composition, inking and coloring, but it slowly became an album of art that had input from dozens of people. A lot of you guys helped me out by suggesting Pokemon for me to draw, and I would probably still be working on it or have given up by now if not for you!

So now that I’ve finished, I’ve scanned and uploaded every page to a Flickr set for you guys to go see. There were a few photos and scans on Tumblr and Twitter, but I never showed off the whole thing until now.

Thanks for all of the support, everyone! Now I just need to start on a NEW sketchbook! Hmmm….

Good job, man, Really outstanding stuff! Man, What I’d give to see you doing actual character designs on these games…

I hate to ask because I don’t want to be the guy who bugs people to draw stuff, but have you ever done a Gyarados before? I was just wondering because they’re my favourite :P
